1st and Inches

Seahawk sock #1 is done and I have an inch or 2 done on the second! Woo hoo! I guess sitting on my ass for 3 hours will do that.

I decided against going to the Knitting Expo yesterday. As much as I would have loved to spend the money on yarn, we do have moving expenses to deal with and our furnace, of course, just bit it. Couldn't have waited another 3 weeks, huh?

I did go to Joann's to get my crafting bug fixed. I have the biggest urge to paint. We have a ton of blank walls that will need art so I might was well use my art degree. I went to check out the paint there and had major sticker shock. I haven't really painted for about 5 years. I just threw out most of my old paints and packed up whatever else I had. Plain old cheap acrylic paints are $5-10 a tube! In the long run it is cheaper than buying something to hang but now I have another expense to add to the list.
