Actual Knitting
With most of the house stress gone, it's time to concentrate on knitting. I made my first increase row in the ribbing of Something Red. Not sure about my M1's since the seem to have left a little hole. I have continued on anyway, thinking that it may just work itself out.
I have had to oddest projects interest my lately. The Loopy Pillow from the SnB calendar ( and I think, SnB Nation) caught my eye. What a great way to use my Lamb's Pride scraps. I just don't know where I would put it when I finished. I also have an urge to knit baby clothes. My SIL in preggers and I have been eagerly waiting for her to find our the sex so I can start knitting a baby kimono and the bolero from One Skein. If she is having a boy, it seems the options are a little less.
The Seahawk socks are moving along too. I am at the heel flap. Beacuse of the huge size of these, I cannot knit 2 at the same time so I am hoping SSS doesn't hit. Hubby like them though and is excited to wear them this fall.

That is all the knitting news for now. Our house inspection in Friday! Three more week until we move. God, I need to start packing again...

Hi! Are you knitting through the back loop on the M1's? I too had that problem, but ktbl helped.. I love the colors of the socks! If you have an extra pair of needles in that size, try C/O if you can for the 2nd pair..then that way they are started. It sometimes helps for me ;)
For a cute, fairly quick I think (I'll let you know I plan on making a few of these!) I was thinking a baby bolero and these cute little pants.

I know what you mean about make ones. In a fit of knitterly geekiness one afternoon I went through the vogue knitting bible, and knitting from the top down trying all the options. Now I generally tend toward picking up from the row below to avoid holiness.
