Tonight, tonight

After a being MIA at Purlygirls for about a month, I plan on returning tonight. I really need that 2-3 hours of time set aside just to knit. With everything else going now, my knitting has suffered. I could possibly finish the Jaywalkers if all goes well.

In other news, our TV dies last night. It is only 5 years old! No picture, just sound. Of course the warranty expired last year. So now we are in the market for a new TV. I have to say though the projection TV was just too big so I will be ok replacing it with a flatscreen.

  • My father-in-law has this thing that within 1 month of the warranty expiring, no matter what it is, the item croaks in a most spectacular way. I'm just waiting for the next item to come up.

  • Or you could always keep the old TV to knit to (if you aren't worried about it spontaneously blowing up, that is). I mean, you could knit and listen. That's what I do for the most part -- knit, listen, look up only when there's a particularly loud explosion or DH makes some kind of surprised sound.
