Nothing like last minute
We have one room left to paint in the new house. Of course, it is the 2 story vaulted ceiling dining/living room that hubby swore he could do himself. That was prior to the ER visit. We had a quote from a painter for $800 plus paint. Yesterday, we got another quote- $500 plus paint! Sold! He is coming today to paint the room. He says 10:30-5pm but I am thinking more of 1pm-9pm. I have people coming over tomorrow afternoon so this has to get done so we can set everything up. I feel like it is the last day of Trading Spaces and we have to bust this out.

Excellent! It's great he isn't trying to do it himself. A room that high can't be painted by anyone who even has the slightest touch of vertigo, and you really don't want another ER trip. That alone is worth the 500.
