Steeks and socks

My mindset was ready on Sunday morning to do some steeking. When that happens I have to jump at the bit so after about an hour of sewing and double checking everything, I was ready. Honestly, I don't know why I was so nervous. It was fun and actually pretty easy. Now I just have to block and buy/insert a zipper.

I also started some new socks- Menehune Cobblestone. I pulled what I think is the oldest yarn from my stash, Knitpicks Sock Landscap in Fall Foliage. It is nothing like the other colorways a choose but it is really getting me in the fall mood.

  • Glad to hear your steeking went well. Don't you just want to cut all your knitting now?

  • I've been thinking of you and your upcoming steeking!! Great job, can't wait to see it with the zipper! Nice looking socks too!
