Recycled Patterns
I recently saw that Interweave Knits was coming out with a Holiday Gifts edition. I was excited to see what ideas they had. Today, I saw the preview online. What is the first thing? Backyard Leaves- the very scarf that has become my longest UFO. Also there- the Christmas stockings I made last year. It looks like almost everything there is something that can be found in a back issue or in one of their books. Are there any new patterns? I am let down by this. I had high hopes and looked forward to buying it. Not anymore.

What really stinks is we subscribers have to use one of our issues to get this. I may complain. And this is my favorite magazine.

I think I read on Interweave's website that subscribers don't automatically get that issue. As if many people would go to extra effort (and pay more) for an issue full of patterns we already have.
