Guilty Pleasure Wednesday

Belly Dancing

Being half Lebanese, I have been to many weddings and events with belly dancers. I have taken classes and have 2-3 different DVD's. So when I got engaged, did I worry about a dress? No. A band? No. The cake or flowers? Not these either. The first thing I went on a search for was a belly dancer. Sabura-pictured here, danced at my wedding. BTW, she is 60! I love the movement, control and feel of belly dancing. I guess I shouldn't feel too guilty about it. It is a true art form.

  • Dude, I had a belly dancer at my wedding too.....The Seven Day Adventist men sat with their heads bowed druing the performance.....

She was in her 50s at least and the best belly dancer I have seen....
