When did you start making socks? March 2006
Did you teach yourself or were you taught by a friend or relative? Taught myself with help from the web
What was your first pair? How have they "held up" over time? Loopy socks from KnitPicks (minus the loops) that I have not worn
What would you have done differently? Measured my foot, used smaller needles
What yarns have you particularly enjoyed? Trekking, STR, Lorna's Laces, Knitpicks Memories
Do you like to crochet your socks? or knit them on DPNs, 2 circulars, or using the Magic Loop method? Magic Loop all the way
Which kind of heel do you prefer? flap
How many pairs have you made? About 8
Knitting news: I an decreasing the toe on my STR Dublin Bay socks today. Should be done tonight. I spent 2 hours sewing the toggles on Sunrise last night and actually wore it to work this morning even though it is in the mid-60's today. Can't wait to start 12:01!
