Slightly off plan

Ok, so I said I wasn't going to start anything new until the Zig-Zag scarf was finished. I lied. After getting the acrylic and a copy of Handknit Holidays from the library, I started the Counterpane Bag.

I cannot believe I was so excited to start something in acrylic. It seems to be a quick knit but I not sure if I have enough yarn to do all the repeats. I think I can do at least 4. I have one skein per side.

Off-Topic: I am proud to say that after a couple years of not seeing any Best Picture nominees, I finally saw Crash on Saturday and was moved. It was a great film!

  • hey there! i knit the same pattern with that yarn and 2 skeins is plenty for the large bag. i am just about to finish up my second side and have just under 1/2 skein left. i did the 5 pattern repeats and then did the decrease just as instructed. hope that helps :)
